The Pioneer Total Abstinence Association Leisure Committee are deeply honoured that An Taoiseach, Mr. Bertie Ahern, T.D., has launched our Poster for Schools to Promote Temperance and Address Alcohol and Drug Abuse, in The Royal Hotel, Roscommon on Friday, 4th February, 2005.

The Department of Health and Children provided the funding to produce the Poster.

We are deeply indebted to Padraig Harrington, Irish International Golfer, Brian Kerr, Manager of the Irish International Soccer Team and Simon Casey, runner-up in the television programme "You're a Star" 2003 for their contributions to the Poster.

We also acknowledge Mall Publications, publishes of "The Irish School Journal" who have kindly accepted our Poster as their Centre Page Insert in their Primary and Secondary School Journal.
